Self-awareness and celebration are deeply interconnected. Celebration is more qualitative in ample self-awareness. In other hand, self-awareness directs the quality of celebration. Celebration is not possible unless self-awareness does not allow. Self-awareness and celebration enhances each other. With understanding this fact, Wholeness Commune celebrate regularly.
Celebration at commune aims to help realization and evolution of self-awareness. "Tamas" (dull, lethargic, and negative) way of celebration does not help to realize self-awareness. Instead, it reduces existing self-awareness heavily. "Rajas" (passionate, active, and worldly) does not reduce existing self-awareness significantly but does not help to enhance significantly too. In the Commune, "sattvic" (having a serene , harmonious , balanced mind or attitude) celebrations are arranged to help expansion of self-awareness in you while being at the commune.
The ashram regularly celebrate on the occasion of appropriate local and festivals and holiday. Currently, we are planning to celebrate following as local holiday. Here, "holiday" typically refers to a specific day or period of time set aside for celebration, observance, or leisure, during which normal activities, such as work, school, or business operations, are suspended. Holidays are often marked by special events, traditions, or rituals that commemorate cultural, religious, historical, or national significance.
